    TIMOTHY FRANCIS BARRY became an Affiliated Agent with Kneerim & Williams in 2018. He is keen to discover authentic voices in literary fiction and memoir--especially of the boundary-expanding sort--and to ferret out unusual and captivating work in the fields of art, music, film, food, travel, crime and counterculture.

    As a freelance writer and editor, Tim's work has been featured in The Boston Globe (food features), Aesthetica Magazine, artcritical, The Brooklyn Rail, Take-It Magazine, New Musical Express, The Noise, artsfuse, (art and music criticism) and many others. Tim worked as a concert promoter for I-Shen Productions, producing dozens of rock and reggae concerts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As personal manager he guided recording artists Black Cat Bone and Healing of The Nation.In 2012 he produced a short film, "The Awakening," which was accepted for competition at the Provincetown International Film Festival. He operates Tim's Used Books, in Northampton, Mass. and Provincetown, Mass., which book critic David L. Ulin calls his "favorite bookstore in America." (Los Angeles Times 8/29/13) In 2017 Tim acquired re-issue rights to The Provincetown Seafood Cookbook, for Seven Stories Press. He also acquired for it an original introduction by Anthony Bourdain, published June 2018.
